3 Homework Richard Dawkins is a scientist who promotes ideas about Atheism, he has a lot to say about the Christian idea of God. “The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.” RICHARD DAWKINS, The God Delusion 1.Read the above quote and re-write the underlined section to explain what Dawkins means – you may need to research the words to help. 2.Explain if you agree or disagree with Dawkins.- would a just and loving God allow evil and suffering? 3.Give 2 responses a Christian would give in response to the problem of evil.
