13 Levels of Collaboration: A Teacher’s Tool Collaboration: This project was jointly planned by the library staff and me. The learning experiences were jointly taught and the student assessments jointly done. There was assessment of both the content mastery and student use of resources as well as their IL skills. Coordination: I provided the library staff with the content goals, expected product(s), due date, assessment criteria for the project. I consulted with the library staff about the types of resources and timing of the project. The library staff taught my students how to use these resources & they assisted them in their research. Cooperation: I informed the library staff of my project. They provided resources for my students/me to use. Connection: I informed the library staff of my project, but they had no input into the design or timing. Consumption: My students used the library for typing, printing, photocopying and weekly checkout. Collaboration Coordination Cooperation Connection Consumption
