3. Peter understood what Jesus said ! But he did not believe that Jesus meant what He said!

4. Gen. 2:16-17 - could not eat of one tree in garden Gen. 3:2-3 - she knew what God had said 1 Tim. 2:14 - the woman was deceived She was deceived by the devil into thinking that God did not mean what He said!

5. Gen. 6:7 “I will destroy man” 2 Pet. 2:5 - Noah was a preacher of righteousness - He preached for 120 years warning people - Only 8 people believed God All the rest of the people did not believe - it did not seem reasonable to them !

6. “Escape for your life; do not look behind you” Gen. 19:17 “But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.” Gen. 19:26 What harm would it do? Could he really mean not to look back?

7. God gave instructions for moving tabernacle furniture Ex. 25:14 - staves into the rings Num. 4:15 “they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die” 2 Samuel 6 - Touched ark and died What harm could touching the ark possibly do ?

8. Lev. 10:1-2 “offered profane fire” “which he had not commanded them”= unauthorized Why? - What difference does it make? - Fire is fire Lev. 10:3 - “'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy”
