CHAPTER 8 PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX

SOLAR SYSTEM  Components of solar system are the sun, planets, satellites, comets, asteroids and meteoroid.  Those components can round the sun because gravity of components  Gravity is a trade-off force between two big mass of things with directly proportional mass and inversely proporsional with space quadrate mass

PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX SISTEM TATA SURYA Gambaran Planet-planet dalam orbitnya PLANETS AND THEIR ORBITS

PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX SOLAR SYSTEM 1.PLANET  Planet is outer space thing that don’t have their selves light and rotate among the stars.  The planets around the sun called revolution and the time that needed by planets once to round the sun called period of revolution.  Moving of the planet in its pivot called rotation and the time that used to rotate called period of rotation.

PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX SOLAR SYSTEM 2.SATELIT  Satellite is hangers of the planets. Hence, satellite is apart of the solar system.  Each planets has different number of satellite and there is planet without satellite.  Moon rotation Moon is satellite of the earth. In it rotation round the earth, moon across orbit of the earth two times. Revolution period of moon it uses to round the sun is same with earth’s time period, so the face of the moon constants.

PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX SOLAR SYSTEM 3.COMET  The meaning of comet is the long hairs. Comet is part of solar system with ellipse orbit.  Comet’s orbit form angle to ecliptics. Hence, comet’s period is large.  In instant, Halley comet has time period once every 75 or 76 years.

PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX SOLAR SYSTEM  Asteroid also called planetoid, it means a lot of small planets between mars and Jupiter.  some asteroid have found: Yuno, with diameter195 km Vesta, with diameter 390 km Pallas, with diameter 490 km Ceres, with diameter 770 km 4.ASTEROID

PHYSICS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IX SOLAR SYSTEM 5.METEOR  Space has million billion solid substance irregularly.  Before those meteor enter the earth’s atmosphere, it called meteoroid.  Meteor also called falling stars or moving stars.
