Use the minus - symbol to narrow search. The use of the minus - symbol indicates that in your search you do NOT want information related to what you have typed. Using the quotation marks will return only those phrases you have placed in the search box..

The plus (+) operator tells the search engine to include those words in the result set. The tilde (~) operator in front of a word return results that include synonyms. The wildcard (*) operator is a fill in the blank operator. The OR operator (OR) (I) to return results with either of two terms. Search engines do not distinguish between uppercase and lowercase, even with quotation marks.
