2. Why Join Hockey… You should tryout for the hockey team because hockey is a great sport and continues to get more and more popular. Also, you will be a part of a close knit team and you will make lots of friends. You will learn discipline and you will work hard every time you step on the ice. Lastly, the team has always been solid and good, the way the hockey team has performed the past 5 years is exceptional.

3. What Ridgefield Boys Ice Hockey is all about… RHS Tiger hockey is about succeeding. One may want to participate if he wants to be a better hockey player. Although you want to have fun while playing, you also want to win and do well for your school. Hockey will not be a cake walk, it demands skill and hard work, but in the end it will pay off.

5. Membership Requirements Players usually attend Captains Practices and Weight Training during the off season which cost about $200. Practices 3 times a week and 2 lifting sessions 2 times a week. Ridgefield Winter Garden All students must have above a 2.0 GPA to play. Jerseys, socks, shells, helmet decals are included. Team helmets and gloves usually come from Booster club. Spirit wear has to be purchased. Exclusive team locker room comes with making the team.
