The Renovation and Restoration of the Historic Church 2011-2012

Construction begins in April 2011 Total construction costs were $1,741,000 by the time we moved back into the Church in Holy Week 2012.

We raised an initial $514,000. $200,000 of this amount came from estate gifts. $314,000 came from the congregation in early pledge payments.

Draws on our construction loan during 2011 were $518,000

Draws on our construction loan during 2012 were $709,000

A permanent loan of $1,225,000 @ 3.25% was secured in 2013. The loan is amortized over 20 years with a balloon payment due in February 2016.

The loan must be renegotiated in February 2016. Monthly payments are $8,100 ($5,600 in principal and $2,500 in interest.)

The current balance on the loan is approximately $932,000 That’s 54% of the total renovation costs of $1,741,000.

Total pledges for the Church renovation were $850,000. These pledges were made beginning in 2010. We have received $802,000 or 94% of these pledges.

We have $91,000 on hand in the building fund from which monthly loan payments are being made. We currently receive approximately $2,200 per month in pledges.

This is the Church where we worship God today!
