2 RAF Halton Aeroplane Club Mission; “To afford Service men and women, regardless of rank and trade, the opportunity of learning to fly at the lowest practical cost:” As part of RAF Flying Clubs’ Association Operating under Civil Aviation Authority Incorporating Military Regulations

3 RAF Halton Aeroplane Club Provides; 1.The military with service personnel who, through their initiative have chosen to gain a greater understanding of aviation, aircraft operating considerations and the use of the ‘air environment.’ 2.A registered training provider for one of the MOD sponsored training courses for serving and retired servicemen known as ‘Enhanced Learning Credits. 3.The “Young Eagles” programme, which annually invites local schoolchildren to enjoy a flight from RAF Halton donated by the aircraft owners and operators.
