1. Sharon Patricia Black

2. Sharon Patricia Black was born in 1947 in the South Melbourne Hospital.

3. In 1954 at the age of five years old Sharon started school at St. Brigid’s Primary School in Gisborne. She had a twin brother Neville who went to school at the same time. Sharon made many friends while at school. Some of her favourite were Frances, Margaret, Colleen, Anne, Loraine, Coral, Joyce, Mel and Glen.

4. Sharon's favorite teacher was Mother Leo because she was a really nice, gentle, and a caring person. Sharon’s favorite subject was writing because she just loved writing. The most trouble Sharon got into was, when one day she didn’t hand her homework in to the teacher and got the strap.

5. When Sharon went to school the uniform was a navy blue tunic, a blazer, a tie and a long white shirt. If it was a hot day they could not roll their shirt sleeves up.

6. Sharon was fourteen when she left St. Brigid’s Primary School, in 1961. After leaving St. Brigid’s Primary School she went straight work.

7. Sharon is a mother to Kerry and Grandma to Laine and Taylah.
