4 LOST PROPERTY We have various items of lost property at student reception. If you have lost a jacket/fleece/jumper/pencil case etc, please come and check if we have it.

5 The iPad Man S3 iPad clinic. Monday to Thursday. 1300-1345 2 nd floor Room 230 Any problems or issues, please come to see me and not during class time.

6 S1-6 Hockey club! Mr Sands and Miss Hume will be coaching a hockey club on Tuesday 3:45-5pm on the astro. Girls and boys, all ages and abilities welcome! Come along after school on Tuesday in your PE kit with shin guards and hockey sticks if you have them! Remember if you want to represent the school in tournaments you must attend trainings.

8 Your School LASSWADE WWI BATTLEFIELDS TRIP SEPTEMBER 2016 Mr McKay and the History Department want YOU to join the next Lasswade Pals Battalion!! Come and visit some historic World War I Battlefield sites in France and Belgium on what will be the 100 year anniversary of the Battle of the Somme in September 2016. Pick up a letter NOW from any History teacher before it is too late!

9 South Africa Dress Down Day December 4th To ensure that this dress down day takes place, £1 donations will collected all week in registration week beginning Monday 30 th November

16 The Lasswade Bake Off (cookery club) The Home Economics department would like to say a huge well done to everyone who took part in the Showstopper activity at cookery club! There were so many fantastic cakes but there could only be one winner from each group. Congratulations to our winners Kirsten Maclure and Emma Wilson!

19 Lost property from the Football Trip to Manchester There are a number of hats, gloves and lunch boxes left on the bus to be picked up from room 116. They will be sent to Lost property by the end of this week if not claimed. Can you Spot Mr Dolan who made it on to Match of the Day?..........

24 Junior Amnesty Group Join the junior Amnesty International group and help Amnesty raise awareness of human rights issues around the world and promote them in the school. Open to S1 to S3 On Thursdays at 1.15pm In room 113
