3. My opinion Last winter I was in London. I had not been to England before, so I was very excited. My host family was very kind and very hospitable. I did not imagine that London was so beautiful. In London I visited many museums: Madam Tussauds museum, National gallery, Transport museum, British museum and etc. I was very excited with everything in the museums. But England is famous for football. So I wanted to go on the football match but the tickets were so expensive that we could not go to the match. When I was in London I met many friends. My dreams came true. I was like a zombie, because I had not seen such a beautiful place before. One day we went to the Piccadilly street. I know that in this street there is the building, which is full of advertizement and I saw it in the Piccadilly street. I want to come to London again. It is one of my favourite cities but Russia is the best.

5. Geography Information England occupies two thirds of island Great Britain. In the north it borders on Scotland, in the west — with the Wales. There are many hills in England, but to the north the district becomes more mountainous. Six largest cities of England (on population decrease): London, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester.

7. London Eye This is the biggest sightseeing wheel in Europe. If you saw it, you would be very excited. It was made by “British Airlines”. Architects: David Marks, Julia Barfield, Malcolm Cook, Mark Sparrowhawk, Steven Chilton and Nic Bailey in 1998- 1999.

8. Tower Bridge It is a symbol of the Great Britain. It is very old. It was made by Bridge House Estates 30 June 1894.

9. Buckingham Palace It is the winter residence of the queen of Great Britain. When the flag is up – the queen is in the residence, when the flag is down – the queen isn’t in residence.

10. Belfast This ship took part in the World War II. It is very nice. It is British cruiser, which took part in the World War II. It was made by Harland and Wolff in 17 of march 1938.

11. St. Paul’s Cathedral It is the most beautiful cathedral in Great Britain. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1673. And you can go in if you want.

12. Piccadilly street It is very unusual street with the building, which is full of advertizement. Piccadilly circus was made by Lord Holford in 1962.

13. Big Ben It is the symbol of Great Britain. It was made in 1859 by Charles Barry. It is very beautiful building.

14. Traditions 1. Every day at 5 o’clock many english people drink tea. This traditional called “5 o’clock tea”. 2. Every Sunday many English people go to the church.
