4. Fairtrade Committee After successfully achieving out FairAware award last year we are hoping to continue our support of Fairtrade and earn our FairActive award. To do this I need your help to organise events throughout the year and lead change within our school. If you want to know more about the Fairtrade Committee (no obligation to join!) our first meeting will be; Lunch time TODAY in Miss Maltby’s Room 119 1.20pm - bring your lunch, there will be cakes! 7. S1-6 Hockey club! Mr Sands and Miss Hume will be coaching a hockey club on Tuesday 3:45-5pm on the astro. Girls and boys, all ages and abilities welcome! Come along after school on Tuesday in your PE kit with shin guards and hockey sticks if you have them!

8. Up-cycle club If you like the idea of making something new out of old or discarded materials, see Mr MacInnes in room 011 today at lunchtime @ 1.15 to find out more. It’s open to all year groups, and is a really good opportunity to improve your workshop skills and have fun making something different.

12. Journey to Change 2015/16 We need your help! This week you will hear about the pupils from Umlazi township who we are bringing to the school in February 2016. You can help us by raising £1 by walking, running, cycling or swimming for one mile. Pick up a sponsor form from you register teacher or Ms Simpson in Rm 113.
