It's goal is to help others have a greater understanding of a topic by using a varied range of text, music, audio narratives and images. Digital storytelling can be used in presentations, stories, or autobiographies. It is beneficial because it can be used anytime, anyplace, enduring, multi media -project based and appeals to public audiences

4. What is Digital Storytelling? I found a better definition from educators who have put much thought and effort into the field. (I also learned that there are Web sites, courses, conferences, books, and other resources devoted to digital storytelling.) My favorite is that of Daniel Meadows, who defines it as "short, personal multimedia tales told from the heart." Using computer software to tell a story, Digital storytelling incorporates some combination of sounds, images and movies as part of the storytelling process. These stories are often personal in nature, but do not need to be. They can also be linked to curriculum. Using digital tools to tell a story in an engaging manner from a specific point of view
