Cross-Review
18
| 18 Once all review reports on a manuscript are submitted, handling editor can choose to invite reviewers for a discussion. This approach has proven to be very efficient mostly in the case of conflicting review reports. What is Cross-Review? Editor invites reviewers to a forum where all review reports are anonymized. Editor moderate s the discussion and reviewers can comment on each others report. Editor informs author about the summary of the discussion and the final decision. Reviewers get notificatio n about the final decision.
