2 Expressing Gratitude as a Spiritual Formation Practice 1 Thess. 5:16-18 Gratitude – 1. Acknowledgement of goodness in one’s life 2. Recognition this comes from outside of yourself. (You are recipient of someone’s kindness)

4 WALL OF GRATITUDE One specific way God came to me this year for which I am thankful… (or ways if you have time) Examples: One specific way God has been changing you… Health (emotional/physical/spiritual) People… (family, coworkers, friends, “enemies) Wealth/possessions… (education, country, skills) Spiritual blessings …(retreats, small groups, mentors, etc) Trials, Losses, Setbacks, Disappointments, Delays…
