5 Process for development of continental indicators initiated September 2015 – Workshop of IAEG-SDG member countries and ASSD, AUC and ECA developed indicators for Agenda 2063 ten-year implementation plan September 2015 – AUC, ECA and ASSD met and matched targets from Agenda 2063 plan to SDG targets (two-thirds of SDG targets overlap with targets from Agenda 2063 implementation plan)

13 Proposed next steps  Continental set of indicators Agenda 2063+SDGs should be finalized by April 2016  The IAEG-SDG member states and high level group members for SDGs together may constitute the team for development of continental indicators  Development of national targets and indicators which includes targets/indicators already set by Agenda 2063 + SDG targets and indicators should be initiated by the countries
