2 2 Objectives  Provide an update of current Indian Affairs performance measures  Identify opportunities for closer integration of Indian Affairs and Tribal measures to monitor progress toward desired outcomes in Indian Country

3 3 What Do the Maps Represent?  Includes Tribal and Indian Affairs performance measures and where they are inter-related  Shows relationships between Indian Affairs activities and performance measures they support  Aligns performance measures with DOI goals  Tribal measures on maps reflect how some Tribes collect and report data– may not be representative of all Tribes

7 7 Next Steps  Determine how Tribal and IA measures can complement each other in national budget justifications  Identify which Tribal measures have data that can be aggregated at a National level  Assess where there are overlaps and gaps in performance measure reporting  Adjust Annual Funding Agreements to reflect updated measures and associated reporting requirements  Review process for uploading TDE [Tribal Data Exchange System] reporting to IAPMS [Indian Affairs Performance Management System]
