2. On 11th January,2011 a terrible event happened to us. We travelled to Kyushu,Japan,because we wanted to work as volcanologists.To investigate the volcanos,we went to Kagoshima,``a province´´ where there is one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the whole world called Sakurajima.Later,we went to the forest with our tourist guide.We where taking photos of the volcano and animals and, we were talking to each other.Meanwhile,we got distracted,and the tourist guide left us behind.Then we found a cave and we got into it.

3. We were inside the cave when there was an earthquake.We were scared and lay on the ground.When the earthquake stopped,we stood up and we went outside to see what had happened.We found the volcano was throwing lava and some ashes and we were really surprised.Later,we climbed on to a rock and called the firefighters. Five hour later a helicopter rescued us and flew over the volcano and we saw that the lava had stopped,but there were a lot of ashes on the road and on the trees.

4. When we went to the city,we saw that it had been destroyed by the lava.After that the firefighters took us to the hospital,there the press interviewed us.When the journalists finished,they told us that the lava of the Sakurajima destroyed more than 250 000 kilometres in the area and a lot of people died (more than 35 000 people) and when we heard this we returned to Spain and felt very lucky to be alive.
