LOCATION Absolute Location: 38.8833° N, 77.0167° W
Relative Location: The United States is located to the west of the Atlantic Ocean and to the west of the Pacific Ocean. Canada is to the north of the United States and Mexico is to the south. It lays within the Northern and Western hemispheres.

Jeb Bush, another Republican running for President, stated that he does not believe people in America should only speak English. His wife is Spanish and he speaks Spanish fluently.

Guns, Germs and Steel The United States is 15th in the world based on GDP-per capita. GDP- per capita in 2014 was $54,800 When compared to Qatar (YOU WILL COMPARE TO THE USA!!!) Qatar GDP- per capita $143,400 REASON #1- Qatar’s main exports liquefied natural gas (LNG), petroleum products, fertilizers, steel natural gas (LNG), petroleum products, fertilizers, steel. These are high dollar exports compared to the USA. REASON #2- The unemployment rate in Qatar is .4% compared to the USA with 6.2% This means more of the population is employed and this benefits the country with additional tax dollars and spending ability. REASON #3- In the USA, 15.1% of the population is below the poverty line. In Qatar, 0% of the population is below the poverty line. This requires the country to provide no tax dollars to welfare/unemployment allowing that money to help elsewhere.
