2. In this tutorial you will learn how to create and save a composition.

3. 1. Select the ‘Composition Management’ tab from the ribbon menu.

4. 2. Click the ‘Create’ button.

5. 3. Select components. In this example, select Methane. This can be done by one of the following:  Double clicking on the components.  Clicking on the component and then clicking the add button.  Selecting components and clicking on ‘Enter’ key.

6. Methane should now appear on the right hand side of the window as follows and you are be able to edit the feed values such as relative mole, mole fraction and weight % etc.

7. 4. Give the composition a meaningful name. In this example, name your composition “Methane”:

8. 5. Click the save button. The composition will automatically be saved in the currently selected project database.

9. In this tutorial, you have seen how to create a new composition and save it to the current project database. In particular, you should now be able to:  Add different components to the composition.  Edit the composition feed value.  Name the composition.  Save the composition for further use within the application.
