2 Making Deposits Deposits should be made: – Cash on hand = $200 or more – Last school day of week – Last school day of month Use one bank bag and one deposit slip per day Use the night deposit drop (unless you are sub- leading) Keep the yellow copy of the deposit slip

3 Entering Deposits in WebSMARTT Enter deposits daily before going to the bank Match total on deposit slip to total entered in WebSMARTT Verify that these numbers match.

4 Avoiding Common Errors Record what you have counted. Double-check your totals. Write the date on the deposit slip. Write the check numbers on the deposit slip. (The 4 or 5 digit number in the upper right hand corner of the check.)

5 Reminders Verify the total on the deposit slip matches the expected cash total in WebSMARTT. If your deposit is over or under by $10 or more, contact your Program Manager.
