Admission The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, sciences, or related fields with a minimum of 3 mathematics courses and 2 computer courses. There may be additional requirements promulgated by the graduate school. Application form should be submitted directly to the graduate school. Degree Requirements The Master’s degree in Computational Science requires at least 18 credits of course work, 18 credits of master’s thesis, and a publication. The PhD Degree in Computational Science requires a qualifying examination, 48 credits of doctoral dissertation, and journal publications.

Research The program of Computational Science conducts research in the following areas. -Optimization -Model Reduction -Data Mining -Numerical Computation -Computational Fluid Dynamics -Wave Propagation -Simulation and Modeling -Artificial Intelligence -Bioinformatics
