2 Causes/Early problems
In 1757 the British Empire gained control of India. They created many new and unfair laws. The British also acted arrogant towards the Indians

3 Gandhi One of the most important leaders of the revolution was Gandhi.
He sought to free India with non-violent protests.

4 The Salt March One non-violent protest was to the tax on salt.
Gandhi and his followers marched to the sea and boiled their own salt

5 Independence at Last In 1947 India finally gained it’s Independence… now were all happy right?

Gandhi was assassinated the next year, but many of the revolutionary leaders took part in creating the new government
