DateSession # ActivityPage # 12/10 & 12/11 14 “The Great List of Evidence” – may need several pages that can be torn out! The Day the Mesozoic Died Video Guide 27

The Hunger Games Review Rather than killing each other we all need to form an alliance. We are going to be creating “The Great List of Evidence” and it will happen in 3 stages: –Work with a partner or small group –Work “tea-party” style with the whole class –Work through examples from a video

“The Great List of Evidence” Start a list of evidence that helps us piece together Earth’s History and include HOW that evidence provides information: Example: The Law of Superposition – gives us a basic idea to work from that the layers of sediment and what we find in that sediment are older the deeper we dig. The layer itself and whatever we find in that layer are the same age.

The Hunger Games Review The class with the longest/best list will get 10 bonus points added to their test! Remember: Everyone in the class should have a similar list if we are all working together, and for every piece of evidence there should be a justification…I will randomly pick the name of your class tribute out of the bucket and the tribute’s list will count for the class!! YOU MAY NOT VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!

Technology Review A list of review games are posted on the wiki page.

Homework Study for your Unit Test!!!

BOOM REVIEW GAME HOW TO PLAY: Janay and Creston are partners. Take all of the cards out of the bag and put them in a pile upside down. Janay picks a card (without looking at it) and slides it to Creston. He asks her the question. If she gets the question right, she keeps the card. If she gets the question wrong, the card goes back in the pile. If Janay picks a BOOM card, all of her cards go back in the pile. Janay answers questions until she gets one wrong, or picks a BOOM card then it is Creston’s turn to pick a card and answer a question. The person with the most cards wins!

Test Time Put everything away except your pencil! Set up the “Great Wall of Cheating” When you finish the test bring it to the front counter
