3 When Cells Divide n Surface Area/Volume Ratio determines the maximum size of any cell. n Cells can’t get bigger, so they divide.

6 Interphase n Chromosomes are uncoiled n DNA replicates n Centrioles replicate INTERPHASE DIVISION
