Chiu-Chu Melissa Liu ◆ Born in Taiwan. ◆ PhD, Harvard University in 2002. ◆ Junior Fellow at Harvard from 2002 to 2005. ◆ Associate professor at Northwestern University and Columbia University.

Research Fields ◆ Mathematical problems from theoretical physics related to algebraic geometry, differential geometry, symplectic geometry and topology. She is one of major young leaders in these fields. ◆ In just five years of getting her PhD, Chiu-Chu M. Liu has done several fundamental and influential works on several different topics, some of them are truly landmarks in the subjects.
