3 (g) Quality of the Management Plan The Secretary considers the quality of the management plan for the proposed project, including the following factors: 1. Management plan to achieve the objectives …on time and within budget… 2. Time commitments …are appropriate and adequate to meet the objectives

4 Selection Criteria (g) 1 The adequacy of the management plan to achieve the objectives of the proposed project on time and within budget, including clearly defined responsibilities, timelines, and milestones for accomplishing project tasks.

5 The Process for Achieving the Goals and Objectives Roles and responsibilities of project staff Timelines Break down major tasks and activities into action steps and specify completion dates Illustrate sequence and relationship of activities in a timetable, GANT chart, or Pert Chart

8 Selection Criteria (g) 2 The extent to which the time commitments of the project director and principal investigator and other key project personnel are appropriate and adequate to meet the objectives of the proposed project.

9 Time Commitments Describe the FTE of each staff member and provide a brief summary of primary responsibilities and duties. Explain how these duties and responsibilities relate to the objectives. State how time commitments are adequate to attain objectives and carry out the activities.
