2 Background Arthroscopic procedures can be performed for: • ACL reconstruction • torn floating cartilage • torn surface cartilage • trimming damaged cartilage

8 Material and method • retrospectiv study • 66 patients who were admitted to the Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatology II of Târgu Mureș; • single bundle ACL reconstruction with hamstring autografts; • between January 2012 and January 2014; • rehabitation protocol was identical to all of the patients • femur-first technique and close braided loop fixation on the femoral side; • biocomposite screw fixation on the tibial side;

9 Material and method • We used the IKDC knee rating system
• From the 10th to the 52nd week postoperatively (by phone interview). • Questionnaire item included: symptoms functional limitations in sports daily activities knee condition sports occupational activity level

11 Results The IKDC knee rating system score after ACL reconstruction: • between 79,5-97,7 • average score of 89,9 • mean age of the patients was 38 year • range between years • 53 male and 13 female patients

19 Conclusion IKDC knee rating system score after ACL reconstruction whit an average score of 89,9 separate responses for each question whit a good outcome 92,43 % the outcome is good or excellent The results mentioned before shows an improvement on patient’s life condition, after ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation.
