8 Coaches’ Roles and Responsibilities District-level (external) or School-based (internal) person –Education specialist, school psychologist, social worker, behavior specialist, etc. –Should not be a classroom teacher –Their position provides them the freedom to move across schools Has the skills necessary to effectively facilitate teams throughout the process Attends training with their respective school-based teams and yearly Coaches’ Training Reports to the District Coordinator/attends monthly meetings Collects Mid-Year and End-Year Reports

11 Visibility What strategies has your school used to make PBS visible to: Parents? Community? What are your suggestions for making PBS more visible within the district?
12 Political Support Are discipline, climate, and/or attendance one of the school’s SIP goals? What political support could the district provide to help you: as a Coach? Increase participation at the school? Who should provide this school support?
