1 A Well-Dressed Christian Eph. 4:17-32

2 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; Eph 4:22

3 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Eph 4:24

4 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Cor. 5:17

5 1. Old Grave-Clothes (17-19)

6 17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. Eph 4:17-19

7 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Eph 4:17-19

8 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed. Eph 4:17-19

10 20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned. Eph 4:20

17 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. Eph 4:28

19 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen Eph 4:29

21 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Eph 4:31-32

23 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; Eph 4:23

27 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Phil 4:8

28 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Cor. 4:18

29 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. Col 3:2
