2 Seat belts saved over 75,000 from 2004 to 2008.

3 42 % of passengers killed were not wearing there seat belts. According to the National Safety council

4 1,600 lives could be saved and 22,000 injuries prevented if seat belt use was 90 percent in every state.

5 In 2009, seat belt use averaged 88 percent nationally, compared with 69 percent in 1998.

6 In 2007 Nationwide, seat belt use was higher than ever.

7 Seat belt use was lower and higher among these kinds of people.
