2. Facts about volcanoes It spits out molten lava
There are 83 volcanoes in Europe
Lava is made off molten rock and is called magna when it is still deep in the earth
There are 1510 volcanoes on earth

3. Pompeii
In the town of Pompeii there was a volcano called Mt. Vesuvius. It erupted in 79AD. The people didn’t know it was a volcano, they thought the gods were angry with them!!!!!

4. Dormant Volcanoes
Dormant volcanoes are very dangerous - just because it doesn’t erupt doesn’t mean it wont!!!!!!!!!!!!
