3. Christmas Location Food Family Tradition

4. Location Every year we go to my grandparents on Christmas morning. My whole family is there all afternoon and usually don’t leave until after dark.

5. Food Everyone brings something Grandma makes the main dish Always a table full of desserts Grandma is up before 5am on Christmas

6. Family Aunts and uncles from Omaha Great aunts and uncles from Sioux City Cousins from Iowa A lot of second and third cousins Mom, brother, two sisters, and step dad And me of course

7. Preparation Preparing for Christmas at my grandparents usually starts a week or so after Thanksgiving. All of the younger grandkids go to grandma’s and bake one day after church about a week before Christmas.

8. Preparation continued… The final ornaments are hung, the tree is put up, presents wrapped, and the house is cleaned. And it is Christmas eve.
