3 Note: When considering this word in English, be careful with definitions – they might include things different than Biblical teaching. Also, some denominational sources define the word with a doctrinal slant.

4 The word is actually a transliteration (the conversion of a text from one language to another) The Bible clarifies what baptism actually is. And so will we!

14 ALL four elements are necessary for proper baptism If any element is missing, then the baptism is NOT valid! Acts 19:1-5, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
