“My Generation” How do the lyrics represent each succeeding generation? Do the lyrics apply to the present generation? How does each generation view conformity and nonconformity? What are some of the current fads that represent conformity and nonconformity?

“The Road Not Taken” “I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence; Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” Journal: List three difficult choices/decisions you have had to make. Select one of these choices and write on why this was so difficult. Think about the other two that were left out and discuss what might have happened if you had chosen a different path.

Project Time!!! Select a one or two-line quote from Emerson or Thoreau. The quote should represent a viewpoint on conformity or nonconformity. The poster will visually include the quote and a representation of the meaning of the quote.
