8 Name of Museum The art in King Tut’s Tomb shows that Ancient Egypt was an important civilization with three different objects. The first object is the Gold Shrine. The Gold Shrine once contained a statue of the King, was carved from alabaster and had an Ibex head with real Ibex horns. The second object was the Statue of Anubis. The Statue of Anubis is a jackal head god of embalming, gilt eyes and ears, and silver toenails. The third object is the Sacred Shrine. The Sacred Shrine is carved from alabaster, has four compartments, and lids were shaped like the kings head.
