7. Name of Museum King Tut’s tomb had many treasures made of roughly about 1,000 things of gold. King Tut’s tomb is not a pyramid. It is in the Valley of the Kings in Thebes. The tomb has many valuable treasures made of gold such as a lifelike gold mask and a coffin made of interiorly gold. King Tut reigned from around 1332 to about 1322 when he died. The tomb was found in 1922 by Howard Carter. King Tut was the king of Egypt. He died when 18 and started raining when he was nine years old, so he reigned for nine years. He was the son of Akhenaten and Akhenaten's sister. He made many health problems such as malaria, clef disease and broken leg. 8. Name of Museum The art in King Tut’s Tomb shows that Ancient Egypt was an important civilization with three different objects. The first object is the Gold Shrine. The Gold Shrine once contained a statue of the King, was carved from alabaster and had an Ibex head with real Ibex horns. The second object was the Statue of Anubis. The Statue of Anubis is a jackal head god of embalming, gilt eyes and ears, and silver toenails. The third object is the Sacred Shrine. The Sacred Shrine is carved from alabaster, has four compartments, and lids were shaped like the kings head.
