2 The structure of the tactile system
The tactile system is located in the right center-most part of the brain. This connects to the medulla which is connected to the spinal cord and all the nerves.

3 Function of the tactile system
The function of the tactile system is to let the body touch, feel pressure, pain, temperature, position, movement, and vibration, which comes from the muscles, joints, skin, and fascia( tissue surrounding the muscles, blood vessels, and nerves.)

4 Autism Autism is a disease that can be affected by the tactile system, In cases like touch. Kids with autism tend to be hypersensitive . Some autistic people are sensitive to touch, even light touch, they can also be sensitive to certain fabrics. Occupational therapy is used to help them be more productive and improve their association with people and their surroundings (environment).

5 10 facts The tactile system is involved with multiple disorders (lymphedema, chronic edema, and non–healing venous ulcers) in witch case therapy must be involved The sensation of touch is sent from the body to the spinal cord into the brain at very high speeds. It is connected through the nervous system. The sensation is sent to the somatosensory cortex in the brain. The tactile system involves can be involved with pain or no pain at all. Touch is said to be important when growing up at a young age, it can effect emotionally later on in life. Touch is important in every day communication and in learning information as well. The action of touch refers to the specific movements that one uses, such as stroking, rubbing, holding, or squeezing. Touch can be a important part to ones memories . Touch is important to everyone way of interacting touch can lead to hormone who presence help us interact with other people without the ability to touch it can decrease the desire to interact with others.

6 OVERVIEW The tactile system has to do with touch, pressure, pain, temperature, position, movement, and vibration, which come from the muscles, joints, skin, and fascia. Fascia being the a large layer of nerve fibers running throughout the body, under the skin.
