16 Multiple Myeloma Most common primary skeletal neoplasm Usually seen in vertebral column, ribs, skull, pelvis, and femora (axial skeleton) Typically multiple, discrete, small, lytic lesions Occasionally, seen as a single lytic lesion: plasmacytoma (solitary myeloma)
