7 How many years of training are required? –Vascular(2 y): generally requires fellowship: 1-2 years –Spine(1 y): Fellowship for academics, 1 year Part of almost all neurosurgery practices –Tumor(1 y): Fellowships just for academics –Functional(1 y): Mostly academics Separate epilepsy fellowships available –Trauma (1 y): neuroICU –Pediatrics(1 y)
