1. Note cards/Evidence When you are finished with all 10 of your note cards. You need to go through and number the note cards from 1-10 on reliability, convincing, supportive, and evidence. 1=most convincing 10=least convincing You will use only 3 note cards for the evidence in your TREAEAEAT paragraph.

2. Crime Assignment Rubric-This will count twice in the grade book  Each paragraph in your essay will be worth 25 points. I. Introduction paragraph 25 pts. II. Body Paragraphs 25 pts. III. Conclusion paragraph 25 pts. --Remember you must follow our essay formats -Funnel- -TREAEAEAT -READ --The 25 points will be coming from your grammar (overused pronouns, spelling, comma rules, capitalization, and indention). -Comma rules (1,2,3,and 6) must be used at least one time within your essay.

3. Writing body paragraphs is always a T.R.E.A.E.A.E.A.T. T= Transition/R= Reason (1 st sentence) E= Evidence (2 nd sentence) A= Answer questions (3 rd sentence… use because) E= Evidence (4 th sentence) A= Answer questions (5 th sentence… use because) E= Evidence (6 th sentence) A= Answer questions (7 th sentence… use because) T= Tie back to Thesis (8 th sentence)

7. Crime Assignment is due on Monday November 25  Student will look up two different sources that provide information on the alleged crime of their character.  They must be credible resources. We will do an activity with this to check our work.  Include character traits of the accused character in their argument.  They will write a minimum of 3 paragraphs...intro, body, and conclusion.  You will cite other characters as witnesses for evidence but they must use dialogue punctuation correctly.
