1 1/13/14 First full week back from Christmas Break! We will be really digging into 10 more/less than a number. The standards really wants the children to be able to tell 10 more or 10 less than a number with out them having to count it out. We will review the commutative property that we worked on last week.

2 1.There are 15 pieces of fruit in a basket. There are 5 apples, 1 banana and some cherries. How many cherries is in the basket? 2.How many more people like apples than banana’s? 3.6+5+1=10-6 4.If 3+5=8 then…….. I can give you the answer to 5-4 or 5+3? 5.10 more than 56 6.10 less than 48 7.1 more than 28 8.1 less than 65 9.4+__=10 10.__+6=12

3 1.The girls had 12 hair bows. 6 were pink, 3 were purple and some were blue. How many hair bows were blue? 2.How many people like apples or banana’s? 3.15-6=2+3+7 4.If 5+8=13 then……..
