Overview State and counties share the costs of juvenile detention: County of residence “predisposition” period Board approval will be requested to: 1.Make full payment instead of partial payment for DJJ monthly invoices (BCC action 9/23/14) 2.Allow processing of payments for FY15-16

Action Requested: Approval to 1) process full payment amount for Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) invoices received after July 1, 2015 instead of 50% payments as previously approved by the Board of County Commissioners and 2) process payment of DJJ invoices for FY 2015-2016 up to $4,500,000.
