Improve knowledge, attitude and behaviour towards improving preconception health Provide preconception care Reduce risk indicated by a previous adverse pregnancy outcome Reduce adverse pregnancy and labour outcomes

Questionnaire - Age of woman and husband - Gynecological and menstrual history - Obstetric history(pregnancies, abortions, labors, peurperiums) - Previous STI , Surgeries - Medical history hypertension, diabetes, renal

Questionnaire (cont.) - Previous blood transfusion, vaccination - Life style: smoking, coffee, exercise, diet, teeth care - Domestic pets - Exposure to irradiation, lead, mercury - Previous birth defects (herself or family) - Previous and future contraceptive use

Examination: - General - Breast and nipples - Abdominal - Vaginal : infections etc.

Tests: - Blood picture: anaemia, infections - Urine albumin, sugar - Genetic screening if needed
