8 © COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION JAZAN UNIVERSITY Land Reforms in the state of Kashmir Jammu & Kashmir land reforms are termed as the most successful land reforms Kashmir is a cropping paradise Present day problem is due to overdependence on agriculture and due to social unrest, tourism and industrial development contribution is very low.

17 © COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION JAZAN UNIVERSITY Future Direction of Land Reforms Act is new, its implementation, problems it face and how it solve them is yet to be seen. Too much is expected from the Act It answers the future requirement but don’t have anything to say for the past events.
