2.  Hello, my name is Jett. Today I am going to tell you how a fossil is like a time capsule. Scientists are interested in the past life of dinosaurs. There are lots of questions to be asked about the past.  What type of dinosaurs were meat eaters? How long did dinosaurs roam and rule the earth for?.

3. 1. Any type of creature dies and quickly gets buried. 2. Its goes into the soil and adapts to the minerals. 3. It lies in the ground for millions of years and eventually becomes rock. 4. Someone digs into the ground and finds the fleshless remains of a past animal.

4.  A fossil is past remains of an animal. Its takes millions of years to become a fossil land you have to be very lucky. Lots of fossil are helped with water and that’s how they get created. Reasons you can become a fossil is you can get buried in a sandstorm or you can just sink into the ground.

5.  They are both buried.  They both are left in the ground for a long time.  They both tell stories from the past.  They both adapt into the soil.  They both leave marks in the ground.  They both benefit us in learning about history.

6.  A time capsule is a bucket or a round 3d object that is buried into the ground and along with it is some belongings. The purpose of the time capsule is to tell what life was like in the past. Lots of people in the future are going to want to know what life was like back then. Then they can plant a time capsule for the next generation. It could even go on for centuries until humanity ends!!!
