1. Fire is the last Element in our Project. It has a big importance in our culture and Life. Troughout the Turkish history Fire is belived to have power and good luck. Our ancestors belived that jumping over the fire sends away the devils, demons, illnesses and bad luck. We have some festivals deal with the power and importance of Fire. ‘’HIDIRELLEZ and NEVRUZ’’are the most important festivals that still Turkish People celebrate in spring time.

2. In our school we made a celebration and some students performed this tradition by jumping over the fire.

3. Fire has a big importance in our entertaintment. We use the fire in some of our dances. The most favourite one is called ‘’Çayda Çıra’’.In this dance,Fire has a symbolic meaning. Candles are used to enlightening the bride and groom’s lives and their marriages and It is also used to sending away all bad things from their lives.

4. In Art lesson, our students made some paintings which gives some messages about danderous aspects of fire and how they see fire in nature.

6. Our students prepared slayts about how can be fire dangerous when it is used unconsciously and carelessly.

7. An other slayt is about reasons of fire in the forest and precautions against the fire in the forest

8. We invited firemen from Kayseri Fire department.They gave information about how they work when there is a fire and how people should behave when they face a fire, what are the reasons of fire at homes, at Works and in the forests.

9. We also visited Talas Fire Depatrment which is in our town.our Students found chances to observe the equipments and fire trucks closely.

10. In Geography lessons, We gave information about the typ of earth ın our area and the relationship between fire and mount Erciyes and the relationship between eruption of Mount Erciyes and typs of earth ın our area.

11. In Science lessons our teachers made some experiments about fire.In this experiment The teacher tries to show the relationship between air and fire.If there is air, fire continues to burn. When you put the fire in a closed area and don’t let the air go in, fire goes off.

12. In this experiment, Teacher tries to show how fire can occur in forests. After this experiment, students understood that pieces of bottles can cause a fire in forests when they have interaction with sun lights directly.

13. In Religion Lessons, Teachers give information about fire in Islam.All Muslims belive that after death they will go hell or heaven.Teachers read verses from Quran about hell which symbolises so huge fire for the sinners.They showed cartoon about Prophet Ibrahim who was thrown in to the fire by his Peoples as a punishment.

14. After all these activities our students, their parents and our Teachers realized how a big importance the four elements have for human beings and nature
