5 Gandhi: the rise to fame This documentary goes back to the events of WW1 and Amritsar from Gandhi’s perspective It charts the beginnings of the non-co-operation movement (a consequence of Amritsar) Moves through the 1920s and ends with the Salt March It provides a good assessment of the 1920s As we watch the documentary, follow it through with your sheet of notes

6 Nationalism: Gandhi in the 1920s and 1930s 1.Read through chapter 3 in Leadbeater and follow through the information on your chart which notes the key detail (so you shouldn’t need to take notes) 2.Answer the summary questions at the end of the sheet (use Copland doc 18 to help you with the last question)
