The motion: This house believes the UK Government's response to the refugee crisis has thus far been inadequate. Preparation: lunchtime. Debate: after school. 14. ‘The Great Gatsby’ Theatre Trip Wednesday 28 th October Seniors attending this trip must meet at 8.25am inside the library to register. The coaches will be leaving school at 8.30am. You must bring a packed lunch with you. You must wear school uniform.

15. Barcelona Trip June 2016 Your next payment is due by the 31 st October Please bring your payment cards with payments to Miss Anstruther in Room 205 Remember to maintain your place on the trip you must get your payments in on time.

16. Trick or Treat? Deliver a Hallowe’en gift to your friends! Will it be a trick or a treat inside?  Inside there will be either home baking or some Hallowe’en tricks– but there’s a 50/50 chance for which one you’ll receive!  Pick up a form from the lunch hall at breaks on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to buy and decide who to deliver your trick or treat to!  Order a box to be delivered to classes on Thursday  Boxes will be £1.

17. Netball Matches To the Senior Netball Team. Your first match is Tuesday 3 rd November against Newbattle. Please come to Room 302 as soon as possible to let me know if you can play that day. Thanks Miss Mollon

18. S1-6 Hockey club! Mr Sands and Miss Hume will be coaching a hockey club on Tuesday 3:45-5pm on the astro. Girls and boys, all ages and abilities welcome! Come along after school on Tuesday in your PE kit with shin guards and hockey sticks if you have them! We will be entering tournaments against other schools very soon. If you want a chance to represent your school you MUST attend trainings.
