How multidisciplinary requirements could be best met through translational co-operation enabled by e-infrastructures? What are the visions/scenarios behind the national ongoing or planned activities? What are the central visions and scenarios to be explored in a future translational foresight exercise? What are the systemic and institutional changes needed to take effect in order to bring e- infrastructures closer to national and European wide innovation systems? What are the national research and innovation policy implications towards serving scientific multidisciplinarity through e-infrastructures? How further expansion of broadband and optical networking to companies, governments, institutes and organisations could forge a relationship between e-Infrastructure and innovation on the long term? How the grater economic and social context surrounding scientific exploration will affect the development of e-science and change the way we do science and innovation in general? What is the impact of e-infrastructures on the organisation and functioning of science?
