Tiller of the ground
“Brought of the fruit of the ground”
“…unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect”
Abel
Keeper of sheep
“Brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof”
“Jehovah had respect unto Abel and to his sacrifice”

3. 1 John 3:4– “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
Cain’s offering transgressed God’s will
Abel’s offering conformed to God’s will

4. Abel’s sacrifice was offered by faith
Heb.11:4– “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain…”
